The UNICAF organisation continues to expand, and is now represented in 11 countries around the world, including Cyprus, Kenya, Nigeria, Malawi, Egypt, Uganda, Somalia, Ghana, Zambia, Mauritius and Jamaica.
UNICAF information centres and learning centres, provide all necessary information about the tremendous opportunities for quality higher education online, or through blended learning offered through UNICAF. More than 9000 students have benefitted so far from the UNICAF Scholarship Programme, one of the most generous programmes of its kind in the world today, which has awarded over 35 million USD’s worth of scholarships, helping eligible candidates study for internationally recognised degrees by covering the cost of their fees by up to 80%. UNICAF partners with reputable universities like the University of South Wales in the UK, the University of Nicosia in Europe and Unicaf University in Africa.
UNICAF employs hundreds of Student Advisers in its international information centres who are always ready and willing to assist students with the application procedure and to help them apply for a scholarship. The role of UNICAF’s Student Advisers is very important; potential students expect to receive all information about UNICAF from them, as well as to be guided in choosing the most suitable study programme and in completing the application procedure. The Student Advisers’ role continues long after the applicant has enrolled and become a UNICAF student. The advice, information and guidance they provide remains very useful and relevant for their students until graduation day.
Recognising the important work Student Advisers do, UNICAF, decided to award monetary prizes to top-performers in various countries. The names of the prize winning Student Advisers, some of whom are pictured below, are:
