Unicaf University Graduate Conference 2021

The first Unicaf University Graduate Conference took place over two days in March 2021 and was a resounding success, attended by over 250 delegates.

It featured 38 oral presentations, 16 poster presentations and two plenary discussions.

The first plenary presentation was delivered by Dr Christine Phiri Mushibwe, the Vice Chancellor of Unicaf University in Zambia, who delved into the intriguing topic of ‘The conundrum of research and its endless misconceptions and interpretations.’

The second plenary presentation examined the ‘Preparedness of trade unions in Zambia amidst Covid-19’ and was given by Dr Attridge Mwelwa, a faculty member at Unicaf University in Zambia.

In the post-conference Award Ceremony, the honour for the best presentation went to Shelly Ann Robinson for her insightful presentation titled ‘Investigating the influence of Positive Psychology as an approach for an effective management of Organizational change (a Jamaica perspective).’ Rabiu Aminu received the award for the best poster presentation for his work titled ‘Enhanced human resource accounting disclosure index’.
