With so much information provided on our websites about our programmes, it is understandable that you will have your own questions about UNICAF. We’ve compiled a list with answers to the most frequently asked questions we receive from applicants, so that you can have all the information you need. Q: How can I apply for a UNICAF Scholarship?
A: It’s simple. Once you choose the degree you would like to study for, you can go to UNICAF’s Apply Website and fill out the application form. One of our highly trained student advisers will then get in touch with you by telephone, to guide you through the application process and answer any questions you may have at this stage.

Q: Where are you located?
A: UNICAF is an organisation that provides scholarships for programmes offered by our partner universities. All programmes are available online and there is no need for you to relocate to commence your studies. Q: What qualifications do I need to have, in order to apply for a scholarship?
A: To apply for a UNICAF Scholarship, you should:

  • Have an income of less than US $20,000 per year
  • Be ready to commence your academic studies within 6 months from the date of receiving admission to your chosen academic programme
  • Meet the entry requirements of your chosen programme of study, i.e. have the relevant academic qualifications

Q: What is the total cost of my studies?
A: UNICAF offers partial scholarships for academic programmes offered by its partner universities. The final fee you will have to pay depends on the type of course you choose, your academic qualifications and you financial background. You can fill in your application, free of charge and without any obligations, to have one of our highly trained advisers contact you and inform you about the final cost and payment plans.

Q; In what languages are the courses offered?
A: Currently, all our courses and communication is in English.

Q: What programmes do you offer?
A: The list of available programmes is constantly expanding. For an up-to-date list of our partner universities and the courses on offer, please visit UNICAF’s Partners and Programmes Website

Q: Do I need to have an email address to apply?
A: Yes, all applicants need to provide a valid email address. You can create an email address, free-of-charge, with many providers, such as Gmail and Yahoo.

Q: Am I eligible for a scholarship for the degree I am currently studying?
