An Inside Look into the Unicaf University Malawi Campus

Unicaf University (UU) welcomed visitors during its premier Open Day Events that took place on August 19 and 20. The aim of the event was to introduce the Malawi campus to interested parties and to give visitors the opportunity to learn what it is like to be a student at UU.

Student advisers guided the visitors through the state-of-the-campus and answered enquiries regarding delivery modes, such as blended and online learning, scheduling of classes, tuition fees, payment plans, date of commencement and the UNICAF Scholarship programme.

Professor Joseph Kuthemba Mwale, Rector of the University, was receiving guests in the board room and explained both the short and long term vision of Unicaf University in Malawi and sub-Saharan Africa.

According to Chikumbutso Mkutumula, Marketing Manager at Unicaf Universy, the event was a great success with many potential students that could not attend the event still calling to enquire about signing up to programmes. Mr Mkutumula also remarked the great interest in the University’s blended and online learning methods as it allows flexibility and accessibility that would not be possible in a traditional on-campus environment.
