An auditorium packed with more than 1000 people watched eagerly the presentation by Augustine Koranteng, representative of UNICAF in Ghana, at the Sunyani Polytechnic University, on the 4th of May 2017.
The UNICAF organisation continues to expand, and is now represented in 11 countries around the world, including Cyprus, Kenya, Nigeria, Malawi, Egypt, Uganda, Somalia, Ghana, Zambia, Mauritius and Jamaica.
UNICAF has received an honourable mention in the latest edition of inc. magazine, as one of six startups ‘rewriting education’.
inc. magazine is famous for publishing an annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The names of the companies are announced at an annual conference attended by important personalities from business and politics.
By 2050 more than half of global population growth is expected to occur in Africa, according to a United Nations report. After 2050, Africa is projected to be the only region where the population will continue to grow.
