Unicaf signs MOU with Internet Society of Kenya and Gonline Africa

Unicaf hosted a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony on December 14th, marking pivotal collaborations with two esteemed organisations: the Internet Society of Kenya and Gonline Africa.

The ceremony, held at the Unicaf premises, solidified Unicaf’s commitment to driving impactful change in Kenya and across Africa by partnering with organisations dedicated to fostering digital empowerment and inclusive growth.

The Internet Society of Kenya, renowned for its focus on training 100 youths annually through Active Learning, Internship/Fellowship, and Alumni programmes, has amassed a database of over 5000 Kenyan youths. Their dedication to supporting internet development as a global technical infrastructure aligns seamlessly with Unicaf’s mission to enrich lives and harness the internet’s potential for societal good.

In addition to this landmark collaboration, Unicaf also signed an MoU with Gonline Africa, a social enterprise fervently dedicated to creating a connected and empowered Africa. Their vision revolves around providing equal access to digital opportunities for individuals in rural and marginalised communities. Gonline Africa’s mission to empower individuals with digital literacy, affordable internet access and valuable online resources strongly resonates with Unicaf’s commitment to fostering socio-economic development and inclusive growth.

As Unicaf continues its journey to make quality education accessible to all, these partnerships reaffirm its dedication to leveraging technology and connectivity for the betterment of society.
