Unicaf and Uganda Medical Association Sign Strategic MoU Partnership

Unicaf, the leading online higher education provider and the Uganda Medical Association (UMA) have joined forces in a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, solidifying their commitment to advancing education and professional development within Uganda’s medical community.

The ceremony, attended by Moses Turyagumanawe, Marketing Manager of Unicaf in Uganda and Dr Herbert Luswata, President of the UMA, marks the beginning of a collaborative effort to provide UMA members with access to high-quality education through Unicaf’s extensive range of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programmes.

As part of the agreement, Unicaf will extend its Corporate Scholarship Scheme to UMA members, offering generous scholarships for Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes. This generous scholarship package encompasses a diverse array of courses, including short professional courses from prestigious institutions like the University of California, Riverside Extension and full-degree Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes from the University of East London, Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Suffolk and Unicaf University.

In addition to scholarships, Unicaf will actively promote its programmes within the UMA network, providing training workshops and relevant resources to enhance the skills and knowledge of medical professionals. Participants will also have access to the Unicaf Referral Programme, empowering UMA members to earn while supporting their peers in accessing educational opportunities.

The partnership between Unicaf and UMA reflects a shared commitment to advancing education and fostering professional growth within Uganda’s medical community. By combining resources and expertise, the two organisations are poised to make a meaningful impact on the lives of medical professionals and the communities they serve.
