Unicaf Hosts Successful Thanksgiving and Networking Dinner

Unicaf held its annual Thanksgiving and Networking Dinner on December 15th, 2023, aimed at fostering relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

The prestigious event witnessed the participation of prominent organisations including Global Peace Foundation, Moringa School, UNESCO, KEPSHA, Imperial, AAR, and many others. Representatives from various sectors came together to celebrate partnerships and explore potential collaborations.

The evening commenced with a warm welcome from the Business Development Manager, Mr Samson Kithika, setting the tone for an engaging and productive gathering. Ms Winnie Rachel, Unicaf’s Country Manager, delivered a compelling speech emphasising the importance of collaborative efforts and expressing gratitude to partners for their ongoing support.

The highlight of the event was the testimonies from esteemed partners. PATH International’s Learning and Development Head, Ms Margaret Gituma, praised Unicaf’s dedicated advisory team for facilitating a seamless transition for PATH staff utilising Unicaf scholarships.

Representatives from educational bodies like KEPSHA and KESSHA, including Mr Kennedy Kyevya and Mr Indimuli Kahi, emphasised the significance of Unicaf scholarships in supporting teachers’ professional growth and upgrading studies, citing the invaluable partnership’s timeliness and flexibility.

Dr Robert Miano, a Unicaf student from Imperial Healthcare pursuing a Masters in International Public Health, commended Unicaf’s professionalism in simplifying his admission process to Liverpool John Moores University.
