Unicaf’s Data Science Department developed an AI predictive model which is integrated in our learning platforms. This model helps us predict the specific learning support each student may need, enabling us to offer timely tailor-made guidance towards student success in each module within a programme.

The use of this and other tools is empowering educators and administrators to be smarter about leveraging data to improve student outcomes. It enables us to identify key variables that lead to possible under-performance and helps us to proactively offer bespoke interventions using the data provided by the model. Taking early action is key in assisting students complete their programmes successfully and reduce the likelihood of them dropping out. We also use the predictive model to build a profile for each student which we can use to drive our wider student support activities.
