On Saturday 25th April, Unicaf hosted a special networking event focusing on the benefits of Online Learning for Human Capacity Development.
The event which took place at the UNICAF Learning Center, Lagos, Nigeria introduced the benefits of Online Learning on the University of South Wales Online programmes for prospective new students and provided the opportunity for all the attendees to network with other students and lecturers.
The event was hosted by Professor Abiola Awosika, an e-Learning expert and Managing Director of OASIS. Potential students learned more about the Unicaf/USW partnership and its online MBA and Top Up BA programmes for Nigerians.
Professor Awosika spoke about the advantages of e-Learning, explaining that the level of development of any nation is inextricably linked to the level of education of its people. He went on to discuss how the UNICAF/USW partnership provides an opportunity to enhance education in Nigeria while offering Nigerian students access to quality education at a fraction of the cost.
A well-attended and successful event all round, Unicaf looks forward to welcoming more Nigerian students onto its degree programs as well as to the prospect of similar events in other African countries in the near future.
