Unicaf University reaffirmed its commitment to compassion, community engagement and social responsibility by hosting a Christmas Cheer Initiative at the Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) Children’s Ward.
The initiative aimed to bring joy, comfort and hope to mothers and caregivers spending the festive season in hospital with their children. Through thoughtful donations, meaningful interaction and uplifting messages, Unicaf University sought to ease the emotional burden often experienced during this challenging period.
As part of the initiative, Unicaf University delivered Christmas gift packs to 50 mothers in the children’s ward, alongside essential supplies donated to support the ward’s ongoing needs. Students and staff actively participated in the visit, sharing words of encouragement and hope with mothers and caregivers, while engaging warmly with healthcare personnel and hospital staff.
