Unicaf University in Malawi signs MoU with Central High School

Unicaf University and Central High School in Blantyre signed an M0U which guarantees a generous Unicaf Scholarship to every student who enrols for a degree programme. As per the MoU, programmes available to students, teaching staff, and employees for study are Bachelors, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees in a wide range of subjects.

The MoU was signed by Unicaf University Vice-Chancellor, Dr Robert Ridley and Central High School’s Headmaster, Dr Nishant Mishra in the presence of colleagues and guests. Prior to the signing of the MoU, Dr Ridley and Dr Mishra gave short speeches and then proceeded to take a tour of the school.

Inaugurated in 1968, Central High School is one of the oldest international High Schools in Malawi. Just 2 years later, the school received its Cambridge International Examination Charter which sets the global standard for international education.

In addition to its 200 teachers and administrators, Central High School graduates 600 students every year who continue their studies at higher education institutions. The majority of the graduates choose to remain in Malawi due to the high cost of studying abroad. The signing of the MoU will prove to be a huge benefit of great importance to prospective students.

Also in attendance was Mr Ishan Ganguly, the Head of Recruitment, PR, and University Placements at Central High School. Representing Unicaf University was the Director of Marketing Mr Golden Banda, and the Business Development Manager Mrs Khumbo Mhone.
