Nairobi, Kenya – November 2024 – Unicaf, the leading online higher education provider in Africa, is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kenya Progressive Nurses Association (KPNA) during the 38th Annual Scientific Conference held from 5th to 8th November 2024.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the National Chairman of KPNA, Mr Michael Nyongesa, hailed the partnership as a transformative opportunity for Kenyan nurses. “Through this collaboration with Unicaf, our members can now access higher education from globally renowned institutions, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to excel in the modern healthcare landscape,” he said.
National Secretary Ms Triza Ireri echoed these sentiments, highlighting the significance of the partnership. “This MoU presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for nurses and healthcare professionals to expand their expertise and contribute to improving healthcare standards in Kenya and beyond,” she stated.
Unicaf representatives, including Samson Kithika and Joshua Nyambane, participated in the conference and delivered impactful presentations on the wide-ranging benefits of the Unicaf Scholarship Programme. These sessions provided valuable insights into how nurses can take advantage of Unicaf’s flexible and affordable online degree options to advance their careers while maintaining their professional commitments.
