Unicaf Kenya students visit Camp Ndunda Falls

A group of  Unicaf Kenya students were treated to a great day out: they visited beautiful Camp Ndunda Falls in Embu county to enjoy nature, network and to participate in self-development and team building games.

The lush green forest at Camp Ndunda Falls, crossed by a winding river, creates a mystic environment, which encourages people to connect with nature and with each other on one hand and encourages them to do things they never thought they were capable of doing before on the other. With more than thirteen exhilarating activities on offer, the group tried zip lining, crossed a moving canopy walk and enjoyed the wild swing, with an adventurous spirit and lots of good laughs. A walk through the nature trail followed, with the lush greenery clearing their minds of everyday stress and their lungs of city pollution.

After a sumptuous buffet lunch, during which students exchanged news, views and phone numbers, the team games began. The students were divided into two groups and everyone had a lot of fun. This exhilaration and joy culminated in an intense Zhumba dancing session, to burn off all the calories consumed at lunch.

The students expressed their deep appreciation to Unicaf for hosting this memorable day out, giving nine marks out of ten to the whole experience.  Dennis Kathurima Murithi, studying for the BA in Business Administration with Unicaf University in Malawi had this to say about the trip:

‘Camp Ndunda Falls is sooo exciting! Thank you Unicaf, I have never had such fun in my whole  life.’
