Taking into consideration the pandemic restrictions, Unicaf hosted a CV Writing and Job Interview Skills Workshop which took place at our facilities in the Central Business District (CBD) over two days. The first session was carried out by Mr Wilfred Magwaza whereas the second session was conducted by Ms Tinotenda Masjengwa.
The aim of the CV Writing and Job Interview Skills Workshop was to throw light on employer expectations within a job interview setting by paying particular attention to the following:
How to –
- Compile, write and edit your CV
- Understand the importance of articulating your skills and knowledge
- Promote yourself to prospective employers
- Make an excellent impression during a job interview
The level of enthusiasm of the participants was extremely high. There was much contribution from the participants with many pertinent points raised and questions asked. Overall, the event proved to be very successful with the relevant skills and knowledge exchanged.
Unicaf will, of course, continue with these ESG activities since it reflects its commitment to social responsibility in terms of recognising the need to improve health and education within growing African communities.
