Unicaf recently took a leading role at the AIESEC – University of Nairobi Annual Conference, Local Chapter Training and Motivation Seminar (LCTMS).
The 3-day training event, held at the Starwood Garden Hotel in Kirinyaga County, brings together members, alumni and leaders of AIESEC from various universities. The aim is to activate leadership and innovation potential and to enhance leadership experience through further training, motivation and impactful spaces, (simply put, a pleasant working environment).
Unicaf was designated a slot in order to introduce the Unicaf Scholarship Programme and to discuss Unicaf’s Corporate Scholarship Scheme. In the presence of over 50 delegates, Unicaf’s Business Development Manager, Mr Samson Kithika, spoke about the importance of recruiting highly skilled and trained personnel in today’s workplace.
He went on to inform the attendees that “through the Unicaf Corporate Scholarship Scheme, working adults can access quality and internationally recognised degrees that will help them keep their skills sharp and expand their knowledge base.” Mr Kithika also mentioned the wide range of degree programmes on offer through Unicaf’s partner universities.
The annual conference concluded with several AIESEC members engaging with Unicaf staff and requesting further information.
