UNICAF Egypt students and staff visited an orphanage in Cairo to commemorate Orphans’ Day, on April 5th. The institution selected was the Dar el Orman (Malakt El Orman) Orphanage in Giza, which houses 17 orphan girls with disabilities. The UNICAF team brought sweets and toys to the girls at the Orphanage, and spent two hours talking, laughing and dancing with them.

School graduates in Malawi have the opportunity to take computer lessons, totally free, at the state-of-the-art campus of the University in Lilongwe. The computer lessons are offered to interested secondary school leavers 2017/18 as a way of giving back to the community, within the framework of the University’s programme of Corporate Social Responsibility. Guests were eager to obtain general information about UNICAF, or even to register for the degree programmes of their choice.
