Unicaf University in Zambia recently hosted a highly successful career talk. The event was held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Rhodes Park School in Lusaka and was attended by Grade 12 students. These career talks are part of Unicaf University’s commitment and ongoing high school engagement campaign with its emphasis on further and higher education.
The career talk aimed to provide students with insights on various degree programmes and career opportunities available to them. The university’s representatives, Academic Registrar, Ms Nyamumtuma Mwandila and Marketing Officer, Mr Chipo Mabuti gave presentations on Unicaf University’s Bachelor’s degree programmes, including Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, and Law. The presentations were interactive and informative, allowing students to ask questions to gain a better understanding of the degree programmes and what they entail.
The university’s representatives emphasized the importance of pursuing higher education and how a Bachelor’s degree can open doors to various career paths. They also highlighted the unique features of their programmes which allow students to gain practical experience and make them stand out in the job market.
The career talk was a great success, and the students were grateful for the opportunity to learn about the options available to them. In fact, the Headteacher extended an invitation to Unicaf University to return to the school to give additional career talks to the rest of the Grade 12 classes.
