Unicaf University in Uganda takes part in Blood Donation Activity

Unicaf University in Uganda, in collaboration with Uganda Blood Transfusion Services (UBTS) and the Red Cross Society, took part in a blood donation activity at Mapera High School in Kisubi and Trinity College Nabbingo. The event was aimed at providing sufficient and effective blood and blood components through voluntary donations for appropriate use in healthcare service delivery.

As a partner, Unicaf University targeted high school students who were eligible to donate blood. Unicaf University also supported UBTS with giveaways to 100 blood donors in the form of branded stationery items.

The blood donation activity at both schools was a success, with a significant number of students voluntarily donating blood for the cause. Unicaf University is committed to supporting initiatives that promote healthcare and education in Uganda.
