Unicaf University in Uganda participates in 3-day NCHE Exhibition

The annual National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) Exhibition went ahead from 22nd – 24th September at the Lugogo Show Grounds with over 50 of its accredited exhibitors, including Unicaf University, taking part. This year, the theme of the Exhibition was “Enhancement of Teaching, Learning and Assessment with Online and Distance e-learning, (ODel) in Higher Education.”

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, The Rt. Honourable Mr Thomas Tayebwa officially opened the exhibition. In his opening remarks, he commended NCHE for fostering research in Higher Education Institutions and urged all educational institutions to make strides into becoming research intensive.

Unicaf University, on-hand and promoting its degree programmes, welcomed the Deputy Speaker at its exhibition stand. Unicaf University staff took the opportunity to share all the degree programmes, mode of study delivery and emphasised its focus on its generous scholarships.

The National Council for Higher Education was formed to regulate and guide the establishment and management of higher education institutions. It is also a platform for regulating the quality of higher education, equating qualifications and advising the government on higher education matters.
