MTN Uganda is the largest telecom company in Uganda and, as part of its company policy, it actively supports its staff in their career aspirations by organising career days. In this way, MTN staff are encouraged to explore higher education opportunities.
The Career Fair organised by MTN is designed to provide their staff with the chance to meet representatives from a variety of universities, learn about the degree programmes on offer and to explore the possibilities of studying with a Unicaf scholarship.
Unicaf University in Uganda engaged with MTN staff who were keen to learn the fundamentals of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) as well as the advantages of applying for a Unicaf Scholarship. Unicaf’s Marketing Management Team were on-hand to answer any questions and impart advice to the attendees.
Due to the overall success of the Careers Fair, the scheduled end time was extended in order to accommodate the interest.
