As a newly subscribed member of the Federation of Uganda Employers’ (FUE), Unicaf University in Uganda participates in all events, webinars and activities organised by the Federation. As such, Unicaf University in Uganda recently took part in the FUEs inaugural conference at The Sheraton Hotel, Kampala.
The FUE is the premier employers’ organisation which currently represents 630 registered companies since its founding over 60 years ago. The theme of the conference, “Employer Resilience in a Covid-19 World” attracted approximately 200 attendees. Many CEOs and government officials were present including The Rt.Hon Anita Annet Among, the Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda.
Due to the devastating impact of the recent Covid-19 pandemic on the business community, the conference was designed to help employers identify issues and set practical solutions to achieve faster business recovery.
Representing Unicaf University in Uganda were Vice-Chancellor, Mr George Nasinyama, Senior Marketing Manager, Ms Dorothy Mukimba and Marketing Manager, Mr Moses Turyagumanawe. Their attendance created a positive awareness of Unicaf University’s programmes and generous scholarship offers, with a particular focus on the Corporate Scholarship Scheme (CSS).
In introducing Unicaf University to the FUE family, Ms Julian Nyachwo made the following statement: “Unicaf University is a brand to reckon with. In celebration of 10 years of her existence, Unicaf partnered with Federation of Uganda Employers which has been around for the past 60 years. We hope to continue growing together into the future that we hold dear to us.”
