Unicaf has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lilian Ngala Network (LNN), marking the beginning of a collaborative journey aimed at expanding access to quality higher education for women and professionals across Kenya.
The MoU signing ceremony took place at the Nairobi Serena Hotel and was attended by members of the network and Unicaf representatives. This new partnership underscores both organisations’ shared commitment to educational empowerment and professional development through inclusive, flexible, and accessible learning solutions.
During the event, Unicaf’s Country Manager, Kenya, Winnie Rachael highlighted how the collaboration will benefit members of the Lilian Ngala Network, enabling them to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees through Unicaf’s online learning platform. The partnership is designed to support learners in balancing their academic goals with their personal and professional responsibilities, providing a practical pathway to internationally recognised qualifications.
Receiving the MoU on behalf of the network, Lilian Ngala welcomed the initiative with great enthusiasm. She emphasised the importance of education in shaping confident, skilled individuals ready to lead change in their communities and careers. “This partnership is timely and impactful,” she noted, “as it creates new possibilities for growth and transformation for our members.”
The partnership reflects Unicaf’s ongoing mission to nurture academic distinction and critical thinking, sparking innovation among students through a transformative education that is globally pertinent and culturally rich. Through initiatives like this, Unicaf continues to champion inclusive education and create real opportunities for lifelong learning and advancement.
