On the 24th of March, 2023, Unicaf signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Zimbabwe’s largest food manufacturer, National Foods Limited.
The MOU was agreed upon at the National Food Limited Head Office in Harare, and will provide all employees of National Food Limited and their families with a generous Unicaf scholarship to study for an internationally recognised degree from one of Unicaf’s partner universities in the UK and Africa.
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Douglas Mahere, Business Development Manager at Unicaf, Danai Manombe, HR Business Partner of National Foods Limited and Alice Pawarikanda, Group HR Executive of National Foods Limited.
During the signing ceremony, Mrs Pawarikanda made the following statement:
“Unicaf has extended an opportunity to National Foods employees, and we are pleased to announce the launch of the Unicaf Scholarship Scheme. The Unicaf Corporate Scholarship Scheme will assist National Foods employees in furthering their education through online learning and provide them with a platform that allows them to learn, develop and grow in their careers. This partnership with Unicaf will also facilitate access to continuous learning and development and promote the maintenance of professional competence via online learning.”
