Unicaf has renewed its partnership agreement with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM), reaffirming a shared commitment to advancing professional education and strengthening the accounting profession in Malawi.
The signing ceremony brought together senior representatives from both institutions to formalise the continued collaboration. Representing Unicaf was Chief Operating Officer, Mrs Chrissie Kafoteka, while ICAM was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Noel Zigowa. Speaking during the event, Mr Zigowa described the relationship between the two institutions as both productive and impactful.
“The relationship between ICAM and Unicaf has been fruitful and has contributed significantly to the development of accounting professionals over the years,” he said. “Through this partnership, we have seen greater access to quality education and professional advancement opportunities for aspiring and practising accountants in Malawi.”
On her part, Unicaf’s Chief Operating Officer, Mrs Chrissie Kafoteka, emphasised the strategic importance of maintaining strong ties with professional bodies such as ICAM.
