Unicaf Partners with Old Budonians’ Club to Expand Educational Opportunities in Uganda

Unicaf, the leading online higher education provider in Africa, is pleased to announce its recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with the Old Budonians’ Club in Uganda. This partnership marks a significant step towards enhancing access to quality education for individuals across the country.

The Old Budonians’ Club, comprised of esteemed alumni from Budo Junior School and King’s College, Budo, represents a legacy of excellence and leadership in Uganda. King’s College Budo, one of the most prestigious secondary schools in the nation, has a rich history of educating the sons and daughters of Ugandan kings and chiefs. With the motto “Gakyali Mabaga,” which translates to “So little done, So much more to do,” the institution embodies a commitment to continuous improvement and service to society.

The Unicaf and Old Budonian’s Club MoU partnership, brought to fruition thanks to Ms Suzan Muhoza, 1st Vice President of the Budonians’ Club, and Moses Turyagumanawe, Marketing Manager of Unicaf in Uganda, will focus on promoting scholarships and educational programmes offered by Unicaf to members of the Old Budonians’ Club and the wider community. Through this initiative, individuals will have the opportunity to study online for internationally recognised degrees in fields such as business, education, health, and more, without the constraints of traditional classroom-based learning.

As part of the partnership, Unicaf will also collaborate with the Old Budonians’ Club to organise workshops, seminars, and other events aimed at promoting lifelong learning and skills development in Uganda.
