Unicaf Kenya Showcases Educational Solutions at 13th KEMRI Annual Conference

Unicaf Kenya, the leading provider of online learning solutions, attended the 13th Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) Annual Scientific and Health (KASH) conference. The event took place from the 14th to 17th February at the Conference Centre of the Safari Park  Hotel in Nairobi.

The conference brought together attendees from the healthcare and research industries, including representatives from the Ministry of Health, County Government of Vihiga, Faram East Africa Ltd, Presbyterian Health Services, Teikyo University, and other organisations. The event provided an opportunity for participants to network and exchange knowledge on emerging trends and innovations in healthcare and medical research.

Unicaf Kenya showcased its educational solutions and the range of degree programmes available through its partner universities: Liverpool John Moores University, the University of East London, the University of Suffolk and the pan-African Unicaf University. Unicaf highlighted the benefits of online learning, including the flexibility to study from anywhere, anytime, and at a pace that suits learners’ individual needs.

In addition to its Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes, Unicaf presented its Corporate Scholarship Scheme (CSS) to all the attendees. The primary aim of the CSS is to offer employees the flexibility to study while working, allowing them to manage their professional obligations and personal responsibilities more effectively. Additionally, it presents an excellent chance for employers to upskill their staff, which can lead to increased productivity and improved competitiveness within their organisation.

Speaking on the occasion, Unicaf’s Samson Kithika Mbondo, said, “We are delighted to have been part of this important event, which brought together stakeholders in the healthcare and research industries. At Unicaf, we believe that education is key to building a better future, and we are committed to providing accessible and affordable learning solutions to learners across Africa.

The 13th KEMRI (KASH) Conference was a great success, and Unicaf Kenya looks forward to participating in future events that promote education, research, and innovation in healthcare.
