Migori County, Kenya – 13 July 2025 – Unicaf, the leading provider of quality higher education, proudly participated in the MICUCSA Mentorship Talk 2025, an inspiring four-day event held across various high schools in Migori County.
Organised by the Migori County University and Colleges Students Association (MICUCSA), the mentorship programme brought together partners dedicated to empowering youth through academic guidance, health advocacy, environmental conservation, and career empowerment.
As a key partner under the mentorship and sustainability pillars, Unicaf delivered impactful career guidance sessions and shared invaluable insights on academic progression and the importance of higher education. Unicaf’s Country Manager in Kenya, Winnie Rachael, led sessions in ten schools, engaging directly with students, teachers, and principals on how education can unlock life-changing opportunities.
In a demonstration of its commitment to sustainability, Unicaf donated 1,000 tree seedlings, which were planted by students across the participating schools — a symbolic and practical effort to nurture a greener future.
“Education is the key to success, and we believe in unlocking opportunities for all, regardless of location,” said the Unicaf Country Manager in Kenya, Winnie Rachael. “Seeing the enthusiasm of students and the support of teachers reminded us why we do what we do.”
Unicaf’s participation at MICUCSA Mentorship Talk 2025 highlights its dedication to empowering communities through accessible education and sustainable development initiatives.
