Unicaf at Inaugural Scientific Conference for Nursing Professionals at LUTH

Lagos, Nigeria — October 14-16, 2024Unicaf, the leading online higher education provider in Africa, proudly participated in the inaugural Scientific Conference hosted by the College of Nursing, Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), in partnership with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. Held at Hall 36, LUTH Idi-Araba, Lagos, the event brought together over 200 nursing professionals, including perioperative nurses, registered nurse anaesthetists, and other medical experts from Lagos State, under the theme: 

“Advancement in Nursing Education and Clinical Practice: Integrating Research, ICT, and Resuscitation for Optimal Patient Outcomes.”

The three-day conference served as a vital platform to address pressing issues in nursing education, clinical practice, and patient care, emphasising the need for integrating research, information and communication technology (ICT), and resuscitation techniques to enhance patient outcomes. It also provided an ideal opportunity for Unicaf to engage with nursing professionals eager to advance their skills and education through flexible, affordable online degree programmes.

Dr Betty Omo-Ojo, Local Organising Committee Chairman, introduced Unicaf’s representative, Jennifer Eziamaka, who presented Unicaf’s mission to support accessible education for healthcare professionals.
