Unicaf is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SAYWHAT, a prominent student membership-based NGO operating across Zimbabwe and Southern Africa. The MoU signing ceremony marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at advancing reproductive health, mental health and educational initiatives in the region.
SAYWHAT is an esteemed organisation with representation in over 48 tertiary institutions, boasting a significant media presence and a strong social media footprint. The NGO operates both a television station and a radio station, dedicated to addressing and showcasing tertiary reproductive health issues throughout Southern Africa. Their extensive network and vibrant social media presence will play a crucial role in disseminating Unicaf’s messages and enhancing our outreach efforts.
The Student and Youth Working on Reproductive Health Action Team (SAYWHAT), founded in 2003, is a membership-based public health social movement organisation dedicated to empowering and ensuring the well-being of young people. SAYWHAT draws its membership from tertiary institutions across Zimbabwe and the SADC region, organising and mobilising students and youth to actively participate in promoting global, regional, and national sustainable development goals.
