Unicaf and Lawpoint Uganda Collaborate to Expand Access to Higher Education

Unicaf and Lawpoint Uganda have announced a new collaboration aimed at expanding access to flexible higher education opportunities for aspiring legal professionals, students and other ambitious learners.

The collaboration brings together Lawpoint Uganda’s growing legal-tech and educational community and Unicaf’s online higher education opportunities, giving eligible members access to a generous Unicaf Scholarship to study online towards a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree with one of Unicaf’s partner universities in the UK and Africa.

For those pursuing a career in law, available programmes include LLB (Hons) Law, Bachelor of Laws (LLB), LLM and Master of Laws. The wider programme portfolio also spans Business and Management, Accounting and Finance, Computing and Technology, Education, Health Sciences, Public Health, Psychology, Social Sciences, Hospitality and Tourism and other fields.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting learners with opportunities for academic and professional development. By combining Lawpoint Uganda’s focus on practical legal education, professional resources and connections with Unicaf’s flexible online degree pathways, the partnership aims to help more learners explore qualifications aligned with their career aspirations.

Lawpoint Uganda is a digital legal-tech and educational platform designed to equip aspiring young lawyers and students with practical legal resources, training and professional connections. Its activities include legal updates, court judgment summaries, professional development resources, mentorship, networking, workshops and webinars. Its active community comprises more than 1,500 members, while its wider digital and social media audience exceeds 11,800 followers.

The collaboration also reflects the growing importance of flexible learning pathways for professionals and students who wish to pursue higher education alongside work and other commitments. Through online study, learners can access a diverse range of degree programmes while benefiting from the support and resources available through their chosen academic pathway.
