Press Release
Unicaf and GOMYCODE Forge Partnership to Advance Digital Education

Unicaf has officially entered into a strategic partnership with GOMYCODE following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held at the Unicaf offices in Nairobi. The collaboration marks a significant step towards widening access to affordable, internationally recognised higher education and professional development opportunities for learners across Kenya.

The MoU was signed by Ms Mellany Msengezi, Country Director of GOMYCODE Kenya, and Ms Winnie Rachael, Country Manager, Unicaf, Kenya, in the presence of representatives from both organisations. The meeting highlighted shared goals and outlined several impactful initiatives aimed at empowering students and professionals through innovative, flexible learning pathways.

A key highlight of the partnership is the provision of generous Unicaf Scholarships for GOMYCODE students. Through this opportunity, eligible learners will be able to pursue a wide range of internationally recognised degree programmes offered online by Unicaf’s leading and prestigious partner universities in the UK and Africa.

Beyond scholarship opportunities, the two organisations discussed a series of collaborative activities designed to support career growth, digital skills development, and industry readiness. These include:

  • A joint webinar focusing on upskilling, digital transformation, and emerging opportunities in the tech ecosystem.
  • Co-hosted workshops to strengthen practical skills, innovation, and professional development.
  • Participation in Unicaf and GOMYCODE events, aimed at promoting education, technology adoption, and ICT-driven innovation across Kenya.

This partnership highlights Unicaf’s ongoing commitment to supporting professional bodies, training institutions, and communities across Kenya by providing accessible pathways to higher education and globally competitive qualifications.
