Nairobi, Kenya – 5th August 2025 – Unicaf has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Career Match Makers Central, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration focused on bridging the gap between higher education and professional development. The signing took place at Unicaf’s Kenya Office and brought together representatives from both institutions to celebrate this milestone initiative.
The agreement is set to combine Unicaf’s strengths in providing flexible, quality online education with the career development expertise of Career Match Makers Central, under its ClassifyMe initiative. Together, the two organisations aim to create impactful pathways that support both academic achievement and career readiness for students and working professionals in Kenya.
During the ceremony, Unicaf’s Country Manager, Kenya, Ms Winnie Rachael highlighted the organisation’s dedication to expanding access to higher education through generous scholarships and flexible learning models. She stated that this new partnership would play a critical role in supporting learners beyond graduation by equipping them with the tools to navigate and thrive in the job market.
Lindah Adhiambo, CEO of Career Match Makers Central, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. She emphasised the value of integrating career guidance with academic development, noting that this collaboration would empower students to make informed career decisions while gaining internationally recognised qualifications.
The MoU outlines several immediate next steps, including the hosting of a joint webinar to introduce the partnership to a wider audience, as well as joint training sessions to benefit participants from both organisations. There are also plans for both parties to engage in each other’s events and outreach activities.
