Unicaf and AMWIK Forge Strategic Partnership to Empower Media Practitioners

Unicaf and The Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration and empower media practitioners in Kenya.

The MoU signing ceremony, held at the AMWIK offices, marked a pivotal moment in fostering synergy among key stakeholders in the media industry. The primary objective of this partnership is to formalise a framework that leverages the strengths of both organisations to advance the interests of media professionals and promote gender equality within the industry.

At the heart of the event was the official signing of the MoU, signifying the commitment of both AMWIK and Unicaf to collaborate on various initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing the capacity and opportunities for media practitioners in Kenya.

One of the key highlights of this partnership is the array of benefits it offers to AMWIK members. Through this collaboration, AMWIK members will have access to generous scholarships for professional development courses offered by Unicaf. This significant opportunity will enable members to enhance their skills, expand their knowledge base, and stay abreast of emerging trends in the media landscape.

As Kenya’s media landscape continues to evolve, partnerships such as this one play a crucial role in driving positive change within the industry.
