Unicaf took to the stage recently as a guest speaker at The Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) Conference which celebrated its 3rd edition with a triumphant gathering of marketers and industry professionals at the Sarova Whitesands Hotel in Mombasa, Kenya. This prestigious event, held under the theme “Moving Beyond: Harnessing Disruptive Innovation for Marketing Success,” delivered a wealth of insights and opportunities for the marketing community.

One of the standout moments of the conference was the inspiring speech by Unicaf’s Country Manager in Kenya, Ms Winnie Rachael. Ms Rachael shared profound insights into education, innovation, and career development, positioning Unicaf as a thought leader in the field. In her speech she remarked, “Innovation in education is not just about change; it’s about a transformation that empowers individuals to reach their full potential, and at Unicaf, we are committed to leading this transformation for a brighter future.”

The 2023 MSK Conference aimed to explore innovative strategies for successful marketing campaigns and business growth, covering a wide spectrum of topics, including customer-centric marketing, data analytics, mobile marketing, customer experience, and digital marketing. With a distinguished panel of speakers, it provided a platform for industry leaders to share their expertise and experiences.

The Chief Guest, Governor of Mombasa, Abdullswamad Sheriff Nassir, graced the occasion and extended a warm invitation to various stakeholders interested in collaborating with the county. He emphasised the importance of public-private partnerships for regional growth and progress, inviting proposals from those eager to work together for the betterment of Mombasa’s community and development.

Unicaf had a dedicated booth at the conference, which served as a focal point for interaction with attendees. The booth showcased Unicaf’s generous scholarship offerings, highlighting Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programmes offered by its partner universities; the University of East London, Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Suffolk and the pan-African Unicaf University. It also provided a valuable opportunity to engage with potential students and partners, creating meaningful connections within the industry.

The 2023 MSK Conference was a resounding success, bringing together marketing professionals, industry leaders, and government officials to explore the exciting world of marketing innovation.
