Unicaf has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kenya Counsellors and Psychologists Association (KCPA), marking the start of a strategic partnership aimed at increasing access to internationally recognised higher education for professionals in Kenya.
The MoU was signed during a formal ceremony held at the Unicaf office in Kenya, bringing together representatives from both organisations. Unicaf’s Country Manager, Kenya, Ms Winnie Rachael, and KCPA Chairperson, Prof. Catherine Gachutha, led the proceedings and signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
This partnership opens the door for KCPA members and their extended families to benefit from generous scholarship opportunities towards Unicaf’s flexible online programmes. Through this collaboration, professionals will be empowered to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees while continuing to serve their communities and fulfil their work commitments.
“We are excited to work with KCPA to offer more Kenyans a practical and affordable pathway to earn internationally recognised degrees,” said Winnie Rachael, Unicaf’s Country Manager, Kenya. “This partnership aligns with our mission to nurture academic distinction and critical thinking, sparking innovation among students through a transformative education that is globally pertinent and culturally rich.”
The agreement reflects a shared commitment to academic empowerment, professional development, and long-term community growth. Both parties expressed confidence in the impact the collaboration will have on the lives and careers of KCPA members.
By combining KCPA’s dedication to mental health and community wellbeing with Unicaf’s world-class online learning platform, the partnership is expected to create transformative educational opportunities that uplift individuals and society alike.
