Harare, Zimbabwe – 18 June 2025 – Unicaf has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe (IPMZ) to formalise a strategic partnership aimed at advancing professional development and expanding access to quality higher education across the country.
The signing ceremony took place on 18 June 2025 at the IPMZ offices, located at 15 Argyle Road, Avondale, Harare. The event was attended by key representatives from both organisations, including Shimiron Nyaude (Marketing Manager, Unicaf), Douglas Mahere (Business Development Manager, Unicaf), Nigel Masonga (Acting Executive Director, IPMZ), and Fortunate Nzembe (HR and Programmes Development Manager, IPMZ).
This collaboration marks an important step towards enhancing academic and professional opportunities for IPMZ members. Through this partnership, Unicaf will offer members of IPMZ access to generous scholarship opportunities to pursue internationally recognised Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees with one of Unicaf’s leading and prestigious partner universities in the UK and Africa.
Founded to promote professionalism in people management, the Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe (IPMZ) is a respected professional association that offers training, research, and qualifications to elevate the practice of human resources and people management in Zimbabwe.
Through this MoU, Unicaf and IPMZ commit to jointly promoting educational opportunities, hosting collaborative events, and supporting the professional growth of HR practitioners and other professionals throughout Zimbabwe.
