Lusaka, Zambia, 26th March, 2022 – Unicaf University in Zambia organised its first Open Day of 2022. The event was inaugurated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dr Lameck Mwewa, who officially welcomed the 30 attendees to Unicaf University’s campus.
Presentations were made by Call Centre Supervisor, Ms Wamusheke Nyambe, who introduced the degree programmes offered by Unicaf University as well as those offered by our UK partner universities. The final presentation was made by Dean of Students and Lecturer, Mrs Abigail Nachilima Chalwe, whose presentation emphasised Unicaf University’s Virtual Learning Environment, the digital learning platform that allows students and teachers to work together with ease while ensuring user security and privacy.
Various activities and presentations such as a raffle draw and one-on-one sessions with student advisors followed the opening address. Throughout the Unicaf University in Zambia Open Day, interaction from the attendees proved positive with many pertinent questions answered during the Q & A sessions.
Unicaf University was commended for organising the event, and the attendees were impressed with the University’s flexible mode of study and wide range of degree programmes on offer.
