Unicaf University in Uganda which is accredited by the National Council for Higher Education of Uganda (NCHE) became a fully subscribed member of Uganda’s premier employers’ organisation, the Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE) which is recognised both locally and internationally and is the “voice of the employer” specifically in terms of social, economic, and employment issues.
For the past 60 years, the Federation has assisted start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and large organisations to thrive and it currently represents 630 registered companies.
To honour the membership between Unicaf University and FUE, a signing ceremony took place on the 28th of September, 2022 at Unicaf University Uganda campus located at Plot 53B, Ntinda II Road-Kampala. The event was hosted by Unicaf University Vice-Chancellor Prof. George Nasinyama, Ms Dorothy Mukimba, and Mr. Moses Turyagumanawe from the Unicaf Marketing Management team. The ceremony was attended by Ms Julian Nyachwo, FUE’s Employment Relations Consultant, and Mr. Bengaina Omega FUE’S Legal Officer.
Ms Julian Nyachwo made the following statement to welcome Unicaf University into the FUE family: “Unicaf University is a brand to reckon with. In celebration of 10 years of its existence, Unicaf University partnered with Federation of Uganda Employers which has been around for the past 60 years. We hope to continue growing together into the future that we hold dear to us.”
The Vice-Chancellor of Unicaf University in Uganda, Mr George Nasinyama had this to say regarding Unicaf University’s membership: “We are delighted for the collaboration with the Federation of Uganda Employers and welcome you to enrol and study with Unicaf University.
