Building Future-Ready Learners: Constructivist Pedagogy and Lesson Planning

As the world transitions rapidly toward a knowledge economy at the same time it faces unprecedented global challenges with little historical perspective, it becomes apparent that focus ought to be directed toward teaching learners how to learn, how to be mindfully and critically evaluative and reflective, and how to be resilient and adapt to the challenges expected in an uncertain future. Being able to weave together a knowledge of pedagogy, content, and instructional design is a prerequisite for effective future teaching and learning.
