Nairobi, Kenya, 13 May 2025 – Unicaf proudly participated in the Rotary Club of Nairobi Gigiri’s 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner, held on Saturday, 10 May 2025, at the Gem Forest Hotel on Limuru Road. The prestigious event brought together Rotarians, business leaders and invited guests for an evening of celebration, recognition and networking.
A highlight of the evening was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Unicaf and the Rotary Club of Nairobi Gigiri. This strategic partnership marks a shared commitment to expanding access to quality, affordable and flexible higher education for Rotarians and their extended networks. The collaboration was met with enthusiasm and optimism by attendees, who welcomed the opportunities it will offer for personal and professional development.
Speaking during the event, Unicaf’s Kenya Country Manager, Ms Winnie Rachael, emphasised the significance of the partnership and highlighted the various scholarship opportunities available through Unicaf’s online degree programmes, offered in partnership with reputable universities in the UK, US, and Africa. Ms Rachael encouraged Rotarians to make the most of the transformative educational pathways now available to them.
The Gala Dinner also honoured outstanding Rotarians for their leadership and service, recognising their contributions over the past decade. Dr Julius Kipng’etich, Group CEO of Jubilee Holdings, delivered the keynote address as Guest Speaker, offering an inspiring message on leadership, community empowerment, and sustainable impact.
