Research in speakers of closely related varieties has shown that bilectalism and non-standardization affect speakers’ perception of the variants that exist in their native languages in a way that is absent from the performance of their monolingual peers. One possible explanation for this difference is that non-standardization blurs the boundaries of grammatical variants and increases grammatical fluidity. Affected by such factors, bilectals become less accurate in identifying the variety to which a grammatical variant pertains. The study aims to explore the barriers towards the enterprising of cooperatives in Sesheke District of Western Province in Zambia. This is against the background that cooperatives have not been enterprising for over a decade. Thus, the research took a phenomenological approach and enlisted its participants using Maximum Variation Sampling. The information which was gathered was analysed using Qualitative Content Analysis. The findings of the study revealed that cooperatives of Sesheke District are not involved in any enterprising activity. This paper is anchored on findings of a study which investigated the role of Emotional Intelligence in education leadership and its relationship with school achievement of secondary school head teachers in Kasenengwa District. The study was anti-positivistic and adopted the mixed methods research. The study was undertaken to analyze student’s perspectives on enhancing research in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) in Lusaka. A descriptive survey design was used. The sample comprised 25 students in five institutions of learning in Lusaka who were purposively and randomly selected. Data was collected using questionnaires and semi-structured interview guides, while analysis of data was done using SPSS and themes.
