UNICAF is proud to announce its partnership with the Nation Publication that is set to host its 12th annual corporate responsibility event in aid of safe motherhood. Mother’s Day Fun Run helps expecting mothers and their unborn children by supporting the provision of maternal and neonatal healthcare equipment and supplies to underfunded public hospitals and health centres. The event will take place on October 8, 2016 at 8am in Mzimba, Malawi. This edition of the event will focus on the Mzimba South District Hospital and its surrounding health centres, which have one of the highest maternal mortality rate in Malawi.
